Top 3 Must-Visit Spots in Downtown Dallas!

Dallas is packed with amazing sights, and downtown offers plenty of must-see spots that you can enjoy in a short amount of time. Here are three fantastic places you can quickly drop by!

Nestled quietly in the heart of Dallas’s towering skyscrapers, Thanks-Giving Square is a hidden gem. This serene space is themed around “a place to share gratitude beyond religion or race,” bringing a sense of calm and peace.

At the entrance, you’ll be welcomed by The Bell Tower and an art piece called the Ring of Thanks. Walking up the slope by the fountain, you’ll spot The Chapel of Thanksgiving, a chapel shaped like a cinnamon roll, waiting to be explored.

Check Out the Giant Eyeball!

Just a few minutes walk from Thanks-Giving Square, you’ll come across the quirky “Giant Eyeball” sculpture in the middle of the city. Standing about 9 meters tall, this hyper-realistic eye, complete with detailed veins, makes quite an impression! Created by artist Tony Tasset, the sculpture is located on private property, so you can’t get too close, but even from a distance, its impact is undeniable. Approaching from Thanks-Giving Square, you’ll first see the back of the eye, and as you circle to the front, the eye staring straight at you is sure to surprise you!
